ABOUT US

HealthyDebate.org is a nonprofit platform dedicated to advancing truth through civil, constructive, and nuanced debate, founded and built by Australian tech entrepreneur Scott Linsley.

WHY

At a deep level, I truly value truth. Understanding reality as it really is is the only way I believe we can reach our personal potential and chart the best course for the future.

In an era of increasing misinformation and propaganda, society is being polarized to the point of fracture. Existing systems and incentives reward heat over light, and false or misleading claims often go unchallenged.

On a personal level, too, it is heartbreaking to see people you care about be lied to or manipulated; to see conflict between two good people you know because they have been presented with completely different narratives that inform different realities.

HealthyDebate.org is what the internet has been missing: a place where competition is harnessed for refinement rather than destruction, where truth emerges from rigorous, civil contest. It could genuinely heal parts of the broken epistemic commons and solve a civilizational-level problem we face.

This is non-partisan, crowdfunded, and built to last—because healthier debate isn’t just desirable; it’s essential.

Who I Am & Why I Can Deliver

I’m an Australian tech entrepreneur with a proven track record of turning ideas into reality. As founder of MyJobMarket Pty Ltd and SendHomeSafe Pty Ltd, I’ve built and shipped real-world solutions from the ground up. That same hands-on experience, designing systems, overcoming technical challenges, and iterating relentlessly, has gone into HealthyDebate.org:

I’m all in on this mission, and with community support, we’ll scale it into the transformative tool it’s meant to be.
